7th of march 2022 - week 1

So far i have only worked on this project a week and i have completed a mind map and on the potential theme that i have chosen. I have also explored some photoshop skills that helped me recap what and how to do stuff. Both of these things were successful as i have remembered specific shortcuts in photoshop and i have also gathered my thoughts on what i might want to do but also allowing myself to be open to the idea of being open. Obviously i will be following photography as my specialist pathway. where within photography i have yet to decide, most likely i will be following social and portrait styles of photography but, once again, i am up to other styles if i stumble upon them.

Things to do next is to finalize the decision on what my theme is. and potential subthemes if possible. I then will further start to do some primary and secondary research on the theme and artists who focus around and within that theme. I can then start to develop some responses that will finalize my choice in theme even further.

week 2

For the second week i continued my research on social photographers. I am also half way through making another mind map. This one would include a range of ideas that i intend on completing by the end of this project. I am also creating a practical skill page on my website where i will show technical skills, for example i started a pattern section on my page where i have showed me making a pattern.

Next week i intend to finish making my research page, for now, and would like to research all of the artists that i have in mind for the beginning. It would allow me to start thinking about my project proposal and what ideas i would like to finish. I think i am going to add a little section on my home page where i introduce what my 'plan' for this project is. For example mention that i want to stay on the photography pathway and then what style i want to follow, which is documentative, social and surreal.

week 3

This week i completed my research page for now. And i also added onto my mind map where i was adding onto my ideas. I created a section onto my research page where i focused onto my trip to London. I stated how i liked the architecture more than the actual history. Mainly because i didnt think how the history linked into my work, which it didnt. But the architecture did link as it was an older building. i also did a shoot plan.

I think next week im going to start my project proposal and finish off my second mind map i think im also going to produce my first shoot of this project. Which will also include me editing and progressing from that.
